Enea Zaramella

Teacher and OE, UWC Adriatic

Before moving back to Italy, I was an academic (lecturer, teaching fellow, research fellow) of Latin American literature and cultures in a number of universities in the UK, where he also taught Spanish and Portuguese. Before becoming an academic, I spent several years of independent research throughout Latin America, maintaining a fixed base in Coyoacan, Mexico City. Between 2008 and 2014 I earned a PhD from Princeton University and lived between New Jersey and Harlem, focusing on the study of listening practices, media, and technologies (especially recording devices). In 2007 I completed my Masters Degree from the Università degli Studi di Trieste with a study of Argentinean writer Julio Cortazar and jazz music.

I also have a permacultural project that I intend to extend to the UWC community in Duino.
