Keeping Students Safe & Engaged On School Trips Through Strategic One-to-One Conversations
Philip Bowman
Join the founder of MARIO Education and School Leader of the Year, Philip Bowman, as he introduces a sustainable, evidence-based framework for structuring meaningful one-to-one learning conversations between adults and students, especially as they pertain to use before, during, and after school trips. These conversations not only enhance safety but also deepen engagement and bring greater significance to the experiences. The session will cover macro-level planning and key considerations, with a focus on facilitating the four phases of the conversation process—Connect, Identify, Activate, and Empower. Participants will also receive take-away materials to help other team members effectively implement this approach.
