This workshop is a simple case study. Many International Schools deliver a multiple year group/grade level (Y4-Y6; Y7-Y13) residential/expeditions week each academic year. Each year large numbers of students and staff (800+) are on the move and engaging in high impact outdoor activities across Thailand. I will talk about the context, the why, the planning and challenges, the execution and lessons learned of this special week in the academic calendar. Also a forum to share experiences and best practice from both a school and outside provider perspective. Perhaps useful to schools undertaking a multiple trips week or have plans in the future, and for Heads of Year planning whole year/grade pastoral trips.
