About Jake
Jake, born in a small coastal town in England, spent his early years exploring medieval forts, rock-pooling for fossils, and body surfing. Inspired by wildlife enthusiasts like Heather Willis, he frequently visited wildlife sanctuaries across Southeast England.
In adolescence, rugby, surfing, and wild camping became central to his life, later turning into full-time pursuits. After university, Jake founded a historical building conservation business, scaling small operations to work on nationally significant sites.
His passion for adventure led him to live in Peru and recently northern Japan; where his time was spent not only on personal journeys of discovery, but in the delivery of transformative experiences for youth, as a workshop, multi sport instructor and IA assessor.
Committed to the impact of experiential education on youth, Jake is now Head of JUMP! Experiences, leading residential programs across Southeast Asia.
