About Teshil

Teshil Gangaram is the Interim Head of Outdoor Education at UWCSEA. Originally from Mauritius, he moved to Singapore to study Mechanical Engineering and worked as an engineer, including a six-month assignment in Egypt. After realizing his desire to make a more meaningful impact, Teshil transitioned to outdoor education, becoming an instructor at Outward Bound Singapore and co-founding Exotic Escapade, an outdoor travel company. He has led adventure trips across Africa, the Himalayas, and Asia.

Teshil earned his MBA from Oxford and later worked as a senior manager at Singapore’s National Youth Council, overseeing the national outdoor education masterplan. At UWCSEA, he now designs and leads outdoor education programs for students in grades 3 to 10, committed to providing young people with opportunities to grow and succeed.
