Enhanced Risk Assessment for the Outdoors

Enhanced Risk Assessment for the Outdoors

Post-conference Workshop

Assessing risk in the outdoors is a crucial skill that involves evaluating potential hazards and making informed decisions to ensure safety and minimize potential dangers. This skill requires a deep understanding of environmental factors, knowledge of industry-specific guidelines, and the ability to analyze situations effectively

There is no expectation to suppress all accidents in the outdoor recreation sector; nevertheless, it is expected that all possible safety measures are taken in order to minimize the risk of accidents.

The training will look at ways to enhance your written ‘due diligence’ based on current industry good practice, incorporating both risk benefit analysis and a STAGER approach.
