Foraging Workshop

Wanda Huang
In a world dominated by screens and rigid schedules, something magical awaits just outside the door. This foraging workshop is more than a walk—it’s a treasure hunt, an invitation to trade the ordinary for the extraordinary. It’s about reclaiming a forgotten superpower: the ability to read the landscape. Together, we’ll transform a simple trail into a living library and an open-air grocery store, awakening the five senses while cultivating spatial reasoning and pattern recognition through hands-on engagement with the natural world. You’ll leave with practical strategies to turn foraging into a playful, curiosity-driven adventure for your students—using storytelling, sensory games, and discovery-based challenges that make learning feel like exploration rather than instruction.
