About Brandon
With 30 years of extensive experience in outdoor education, Brandon Chee has successfully conducted and assessed “The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award,” recognized as one of the most prestigious youth programs globally, across the Asia Pacific region.
Brandon developed a profound interest in Wilderness Medicine in 2005, earning his first Wilderness First Responder Certification. He currently holds a Fellowship in Extreme & Wilderness Medicine (FEWM) , Wilderness+EMT (WEMT) & Wilderness Advance Life Support (WALS) certification and has further expanded his expertise by obtaining the Tactical Combat Casualty Care Level 3 Combat Medic (TCCC) certification. He actively serves as a Wilderness Medical Instructor for the Wilderness Austere Medicine Society Malaysia (WAMS). He also a Bushcraft Survival Instructor with Survival Instructor World Association (SIWA) and Lead Assessor Instructor for Malaysia Instructor Bushcraft & Survival Association (MIBSA).
He proudly stands as the first Malaysian to receive the esteemed Certified Outdoor Educator designation from the Wilderness Education Association (WEA), underscoring his substantial skills and knowledge in wilderness education. His comprehensive background includes professional certifications in wilderness medicine, outdoor leadership, and environmental education.
