Teaspoons of Change for Sustainability in Outdoor Education

d’Arcy Lunn
In outdoor education we can engage learners in context with sustainability, and not just in terms of less plastic but connecting their personal actions with impact. Adding to what is already being done, we can add a collective and individual context to the learning opportunities provided in the outdoor environment.
This is an interactive presentation with provocations, discussion and exploration on Sustainability and Global Citizenship that will ultimately enhance the offering to schools and learning for students.
There is a wonderful opportunity and growing demand for outdoor educators and providers to align their programs with the very best practices in sustainability and this workshop explores beyond the surface of sustainability not just being something we do, but a part of who we are… Come and add value to your offerings and engagement with students!
