Wilderness Outdoor Educator, The Nest @ Maeps Serdang
offseas.community

As a Wilderness Outdoor Educator, I am passionate about connecting people with the natural world and teaching them valuable skills to thrive in the wilderness. My background and training included certification in wilderness medicine, outdoor leadership, and environmental education.

I possess extensive knowledge of natural world, including ecology, geology, wildlife biology and outdoor recreational activities.  I use experiential learning techniques to teach individuals and groups about wilderness safety, bushcraft skills, and survival skills . I also instruct on Leave No Trace principles, emphasizing the importance of conservation and responsible stewardship.  In addition to my teaching skills, I am an experienced trip leader and have led groups on multi-day wilderness expeditions.

I am trained to manage risk and respond to emergencies, including wilderness first aid and evacuation procedures.  My goal as a Wilderness Outdoor Educator is to inspire a sense of wonder and appreciation for the natural world while equipping people with the knowledge and skills to be safe and responsible in outdoors. I am dedicated to fostering a deeper connection between individuals and the environment and believe that through education, we can create a more sustainable future.
