Global Trends in International Trips – Risk Assessing and Adapting

I would like to present research I have been doing on trips post-COVID.
I have been following the integration of trips in schools, both local and overseas, post-COVID and how it has impacted a range of aspects:
– Students on the trips
– Providers
– Staff
Then, I will discuss how we can mitigate these changes. I have been researching over the past three years and have collected my data through participation in international events, e.g., Round Square.

21 years of experience in leading outdoor trips, risk management and bringing the classroom outdoors!
I have led and managed trips on 6 continents from day trips, 3 weeks expeditions to term-long outdoor programs.
I am currently the Trip Safety Manager at UWCSEA where I manage over 800 overseas and local trips each year.
I am committed to bringing learning from the classroom into different spaces and students developing skills for life beyond school.
